Re: spark plug removal

The boot connects to the top of the plug with a brass spring inside at hte end of the wire. There is no other clamp. If it is stuck onto the plug, the likely cause is heat and fused rubber on the plug shell. Try rotating the boot back and forth to break it free. Pull on the boot and not the wire itself.

When reinstalling, apply silicone dielectric grease to the inside of the boot to prevent fusing.
