Gimme a chance to be two for two. Try the same set up in gear engine off etc, then wiggle the shift lever. IF the light goes out, you need a new 4th gear switch.

IF not, crawl back under and check the wires on the right side of the trans for the same type of problems wiht the solenoid connectors.
