Rust, rust, and then have a look if there is any rust. Mine (1968) had far more rust than I thought, and was not cheap to cut out and replace with metal.

Everthing else that I have needed is available, and pricing is generally not too bad, although turning light lenses were a bit savage.

I have never seen a column shift - floor is good, despite the look of that long lever.

Stock rims are either 4 or 4 1/2". Standard Ford 15 x 6 fit (reasonable offset, same stud pattern) which lets you fit wider tyres. I'm running 195 65 15 on mine, and it is a big improvement over the 165 R 15 that were on it. Soft poly suspension bushes throughout helped with the feel, too.

Go get one - they are great old cars.
