Re: Oil on waterpump 200 89

It could be the front camshaft seal leaking. I've had oil leak out from that seal and it gets behind the plastic timing belt cover and ends up on top of the water pump. I thought it was my head gasket leaking until I checked it out. The camshaft seal is not too hard to change, especially if you're going to be changing the timing belt anyway.
