RSC,

When I first purchased my used 940, it had a leak at the oil pressure sender o-ring. A good amount of oil leaked down the block, travelled down oil pan gasket and ended up all the way to the rear engine/transmission brace.

If it had been left unchecked, it would have run the engine out of oil.
