I need a solution to my electric seat stuck in recline, 900 1991

THe passenger seat (electric) is stuck in recline.I think the ferrel cable has come out of the gearing. The second time this has happened. The passenger reclined the seat all the way horizontal but then we tried to raise it, it only moves about an inch and only on one side of the seat.

How do I keep the four(square) sided ferrel cable in ?

I appreciate any suggestions you have because I dont exactly enjoy taking my seat out all the time.
