From your replies in this thread, looks like you're coming around to the virtues of being a Volvophile... Hang out here, study the 700 FAQ, get to know your 740, and you'll find it grows on you; the more you work on it, the more amazed you will be by the levels of thought & engineering put into the design. This isn't to say they're perfect - there are some known faults, but by studying the FAQs, you're forewarned and know what to look for.
