Thanks bill,

I think the windsheild is okay, up here (Ontario Canada) the general cause of rusted floors tends to be years of exposure to salt and moisture from melted snow from boots. That being said for a 32 year old car the floors are not that bad, just want to fix them up properly to make the car last longer.
