I like to keep a can of Wire Dry spray in my glove compartment. My '84 is hard to start if I let it sit for a couple of days in very moist conditions. I'm too cheap to replace the ignition wires until I absolutely have to.

So far, I've managed to get her to start using the spray. WD40 will also work. Just spray the plug wires, distributer, coil and coil wire liberally with the stuff, let it soak in to displace the water, then crank it up.

Sometimes she will only fire on one cylinder until she gets used to the idea of running. Once warmed up, she runs fine.

Then there is alwayse the option of pulling the dist cap and plug wires and putting them in the oven for a bit. BTDT. Works great. Just don't overdo them.
