This was a 6x8 covered trailer, the maximum that Uhaul permits for this car. I don't think it was fully loaded weightwise, but it does have a maximum tongue weight of 270, below the max allowed by Volvo. Ther was clearly power to spare for uphill acceleration. I could have easily gone 65-70 mph, but there was that big 45 mph sign on the trailer bumper staring me in the face every time I looked into the reariew mirror.

About your mods, I thought the 960 already had a tranny fluid cooler. Was this an extra? The synthetic tranny fluid seesms to be the way to go, though. I think the darn thing shifts smoother, but that's subjective, of course.
