Overdrive randomly disengage sporadically 200

I would first check the overdrive switch on the shifter knob. Sometimes the wires are frayed and can touch disengaging the overdrive unit. Next check the wires on the overdrive solenoid. If they are all okay, then the problem may be the overdrive solenoid itself.
