I have been off the forum for many year and only occasionally pop back in maybe once over 2 to 3 years. Thanks Ron for the updates on threading the carb inlets – sooo much easier. Been so slong I don’t know if I can post photos on this site…
I have been told the arm rest for the PV 544 58-61 had them with the chrome trim. 122 had them w/o that trim. – same arm rest. here is my story 1962 122s 4 door, 2nd owner
I have one door and this is what it looked like. I picked up some newer versions from various sources but come on 50 years is 50 years for plastic and sooner or later it goes south. The handle below blew out 20 years ago and yes the car is always in a garage but time really did a number on this fine specimen

I was doing a major part buy spree at VP last year and asked about armrests. Lennart said go find a Chevy 150/210 1955-1956 arm rest. Good grief that is rather specific. He didn’t say that he had tried these but they looked like a good match. Plus there is a bit of bling. They are from danchuck but I pulled mine from woodshotrodz
DAN-12271-020 1955-1956 Chevy Black Armrests, 150 & 210 $83 a pair plus shipping at the time of this post
The arms rests are not plug and play - you will need to do some minor internal/hidden fitting. The first thing to notice is the screws - they are smaller in diameter and shorter. For my door I could not use the replacement screw - too short and dang nothing wrong with the OEM and the capture connection in the door. If you take a close look at the OEM you will notice that the threads have been flattened.

because of the smaller diameter screw the OEM head is too big.
I used two flute wood drills - it is what I have on hand - to hand ream the holes to the proper diameter.

On the fat side of the arm rests I also need to make the hole about two threads deeper for proper engagement of the screw.

go only one size at a time and take your time – mess it up and you might have to buy another pair.
As for the silver bling that is not in the OEM, it is not a bad addition. Near the bottom of the door panel is an embellished 1/4-1/2 inch band of metal so it is not outrageous.
The rest on the right is modified to use the OEM screw vs pristine
