Update 200 1988

Thanks for your suggestions.

I checked resistance across terminals 2 and 3 of the air mass meter. Not sure which direction to go, but in one direction, there was 0 resistance between #2 and #; in the other direction infinite resistance. I'm hoping that's the only problem and that I didn't destroy my catalytic converter by running rich.

I'm picking up a new AMM tomorrow and will install it immedately.

The spark plugs have a solid black coating that's fairly easily removed with a wire brush. I can't see inside the spark plug hole to check out the combustion chamber, so I presumed it's all black as well.

Other than change the oil, is there anything else I need to do to clean up the combustion chamber, e.g. drive on the freeway for 30 minutes or use Seafoam?
