adhesive/remounting ext door stripes 200 1991

Does anyone know what type of glue would work best for ext door stripes? Just bought some new ones and am hoping they come with backing already to go and all I would have to do is remove some film or something and press them on. But if not, just wondering if anyone out there has done it before.
