I disconnected the line on the suction side of the compressor as well as the outlet on the receiver dryer.
Applying compressed air at either end of those two hoses (to the evaporator) result in air passing through that circuit, but not very freely. I don't know how much air to expect at the exit point.
I have the knee boltster out and see the connections to the evaporator encased in the pliable "goo".
Is the orifice tube on this car located between the receiver/dryer and evaporator at the entrance to the evaporator?
My gut tells me that there should be more air passing through the two hoses and the evaporator. Do you think a logical next step would be to remove the orifice and see if it is restricting air flow??
