Thanks for the suggestions. At this time the stall refuses to reproduce itself, so we're waiting for more information

Chat doesn't work that well for us. Email with photos, works best, much like some people post on Brickboard. She reads well and can take her laptop to the car as a reference.

I have an IAC here in front of me. Looking at it un-energized, which I think is closed, there is an opening of about 1/16 th inch. That may be there to provide some idle air if it failed. When rotating the vane, that opening gets closed off for a split second until the major opening begins to appear.

By blowing through the valve, I can hit that one spot that stops my breath. I'm guessing it's possible to have it stick at that spot, although chances are slim.

I checked the codes after the work, and again a month later. I know that you're talking about the 2-3-2, but I've read other people getting high idle with intake leaks. At this point there's no hard evidence the stall is related to the code.
