Heya Maplebones.

Isn't that fun working with someone thousands of miles away over the phone? My one suggestion to help simplify that is something like Skype if she has a laptop. That way you two can possibly video chat (or she can send video and you can have virtual eyes and ears there).

I wonder if you checked for codes before you replaced the other parts - could the 2-3-2 code have been there before you replaced the O2 sensor, for example? A failed O2 sensor will usually throw a 2-3-2 code because no matter what mixture it runs, it always reads rich (once it's made it to 0.0v).

I'd think that a stalling problem like that is probably related to the IAC more than the idle switch. I just re-read and saw that you did have her use the self-test functions 2 and 3. Great idea. If the TPS and IAC both worked during that test, I would look elsewhere. Has she driven it anywhere since? There is a procedure to clean the IAC, which might be sticking or have a dead spot. Still, even when "closed", the IAC is open a little bit, which should keep it idling around 500rpm in case of complete failure.

Another interesting test might be to unplug the TPS or the IAC and drive it around side streets or a parking lot and see if anything changes.

Good luck!

I would think it's something like an intake leak or leaky fuel pressure regulator throwing the mixture off so that when she takes
