oK, I jumped the pump terminals and found that they are both working , or at least making noise like they are. The fuel gauge isn't working tho it does when I put a lamp on the grey wire to ground, before and after the harness connection back by the tank. It is a new intank unit.
The tank is full. The engine starts but only runs for a couple of seconds. With key in positions 2
I hear nothing. If I flick it to 3 and back, I do hear a loud hum.
Then to top it off, while chcking fuel lines by the we gone, the plastic flame trap crumbled.
Can I plug the 3 tubes involved while working on the starting problem or should I replace it first?
It's your basic can of worms.
