240 cps replacement ? 200 1992

That sure is a good description of your technique to get to that CPS!

When the hood is up and we are laid out under there, it looks like a the car is having us for lunch.

I gave up on using tape on my swivel joints a long time ago.
I find a neoprene "O" ring that will stretch slightly over the swivel and reach around pins.
It fits down in and the around the dog ears. It stiffens up the flop without restricting all of the swivel range.

When putting a bolt up into the socket, I use stuff called "duct seal."
I can get at the local hardware store. A glob of it is cheap and you can mold it around things for a fit.

There is another product use for insulating A/C lines from sweating that will work also but it's harder to find.

Also there is stuff used by Volvo to hold wiring harnesses to the cars body. It's Really sticky "gunk" though.

Yep! One would have thought, of which the designer didn't, there are 360 more degrees around
the flywheel to mount that thing!
Guess he was lazy at using mathematics to shift the location. Maybe his thinking was it had to line up to the piston strokes?
I'm sure that leaves three more places available.

Go figure?

Phil
