I thought to add---Although the system is probably worthy, safety wise I have personal experience with a '68 144S that did not have the 240 system. In 1988 a jacked up pickup truck with sewer pipe for a bumper rear ended me while I was waiting to make a left turn. He hit me off center--to the passenger side and typical speed for the spot was 45-50 mph. The back and right side of the car were destroyed but the doors all opened/closed and I drove it a mile to my friend's house. Now there's a left turn lane there well marked to allow safer turns. -- Dave
