ANSWER Searching for Trico wiper blades or rubber inserts on 1800s. Where have they gone? 1800 1969

Solution for now, got the car through inspection.

The awesome guys at my local AutoZone found a generic refill that fit the profile, but not quite as deep as the ones I had (who knows what they were). Cut to size and inserted.

Remembered that I lost a wiper arm on a cross-country road trip a few years ago which resulted in a almost-Trico blade on the other wiper. This blade was slightly narrower, but Autozone man gently shaved it to fit.

I'll go for the advice I got here to have proper blades and inserts on hand when I need them.
