The only trick to the headliner is to use clean hands. Really, it is very easy. You just grab it where it hooks over the sheet metal edge and pull a corner loose.

I'm using this springhook to grab it more so that the camera gets a good view of what is happening than it would with finger and thumb. Just remember, that white picks up any hint of leftover butyl sticky stuff on your fingers.
