240 Wagon--Dropping the Headliner for Wiring 200 1992

The weather shows some promise, and I'm itching to go out and work in the garage a bit. Figured it was time to tackle the tailgate hinge/wiring guillotine that plagues our cars. I have read the several tutorials/hints/shortcuts here and elsewhere, and am still having problems visualizing the technique required to drop the rear of the headliner, so as to get to the wiring harness. Can anyone here give me a quick walk-through? With everything still as cold as it is, and the car being--let's face it--over 20 years of age, I'm reluctant to break something major and/or expensive if I start pushing, pulling and prying, when I'm not really sure what I'm doing.

Thanks!
B
