Like Joe, my question is, Why?
I've had 3 or 4 mid-eighties 240s in my care over the years, with no recollection of ignition problems that could be blamed on the Chrysler ECU. And in over 10 years here on the board, very few ECU problems have been reported, except for a few that may have been self-inflicted.
The early White capped distributor was replaced by the Bosch around '83 — which can be retro-fitted to replace the scarce white cap model if necessary.
