this page tells me how to remove and replace the NSS, however:
1. it gives no pointers as to what to look for and determine whether or not it is failing, either in whole or component parts.
2. my trouble at the keyswitch should have nothing to do with the NSS, reverse lights, or shifting ability.

as stated in my other post, i have no problem with not having reverse lights.i do see how the NSS controls those lights, but whats up with my starting problem?
can someone give me a detailed explanation of how the two are connected, and maybe what im missing from our conversation?

it will start in park and neutral. when it doesn't work, nothing works. i get no fuel pump relay. that is the problem. that is why i think it is between the key and the relay box.
