whining m47 - quick question 200 1990

Is this an M47 or M47II? The M47II calls for a special Volvo-only fluid.

With M46 and M47's, I have had good luck with synthetic ATF. Whatever you do, do not use 'normal' standard transmission fluid in these gearboxes - it is too heavy.
