What to do when you can't make time to work on your car?

Guess I already know the answer...pass it on to my trusty mechanic. I've just been thinking about how much I'd like to dive in and do more work on my 240, but between work hours and chasing my two very young sons around, I just can't find time! I get kinda bummed sometimes cause it also means I don't learn more about working on /maintaining my car either! Just wondering how others deal with same issue? Don't get me wrong... I treasure the family time, just hard to find time for my own pursuits you know? I guess I'm lucky too though in that I have great local mechanic with reasonable rates!
