Goatman, Thanks! You saved me from spending big bucks.

I was confused about the relays, my green book calls it the radio suppression relay.I had checked this earlier but my ammeter gave me an incorrect reading.My RSR mounts next to the PS reservoir.

Turns out the new RSR was supplying voltage independent of the FI relay in the dash.It is a defect!
