Evaporator Failure 900 1995

My second evaporator failed after only five years, this time thanks to corrosion induced by leaf detritus caught in the plenum. The Volvo cowl screen is good at filtering out course leaves but not fine stuff. I am going to remove the cowl, add a piece of fiberglass window screen between the cowl screen and the cowl and hope this prevents future failures due to leaf debris.
