The NEW Volvo 1991

Uncle Goatman,

Thank you.

A company called Kent Moore (http://kent-moore.spx.com/). Call 800-345-3399 for Volvo Tools. SPX is a contract manufacturer of auto specialty tools for the automakers like Volvo, GM and others that you buy at the dealership. So, some official factory tools.

You can compare prices between Tasca, Kent Moore SPX, and some after market places. I found only the crank pulley counter hold aftermarket and some vendors wanted as much as 180$ for one while looking these last few dayze in mid April 2011.

All of this according to Jim Fisher Volvo Parts in Portland and the Slumkane, I mean Krapkane, I mean Dungkane, woops, the Spokane, WA Volvo dealership. I did not speak with Rich Mullins at Brentwood Volvo (Wholesale) Parts. Not spoken to Rich in some years.

I've encountered this problem before with Volvo on cars not made in nearly two decades. I've got some stories about 164s and 142s and the like in the late 1980s while turning wrenches for a job. But you have part vendor choices in the North SF Bay Area then.

Thank you!

A Fuzzy Grey Kitty drinks all your buttermilk and joyrides your 1978 242 DL (with M46 and moon roof, an SRO!) around Bellingham, WA!
