If it isnt broke, dont fix it. 1970 164 N/A car was running perfect until I decided to fix it. With idle hands I relocated the battery to the boot and now the engine wont stop once the ignition key is turned off.
The wire previously running from the postive post on the battery to the alternator I have now running from the alternator direct to the starter motor positve terminal meeting where it sits with the primary positive wire coming from the battery in the boot.
It all seems logical so how come the engine wont stop now once the ignition is turned off?
Thanks
