Hi Jeremy

When I said better to drive I meant they are quieter, generally handle better (ie less "tank-like" than RWD Volvos), ride is firm-ish but still very comfortable and they absorb bumps better.

An 850 is a good compromise between comfortable and sporty. Your best bet is to drive one and see what you think.
