Bendix vs Bosch 700 1992

Hey John

Yes, the computer I got form you solved the issue (I still drive the car daily). It was the rex unit that was bad though not the regina. This was a no spark advance at any speed situ. Car had no power, melted converters and the exhaust glowed in the dark.

I would test both of the ect connections at the computers first. The green and white wire at pin 13 on the one we see pictured here and the red wire at terminal 2 on the rex box (it's above the brake pedal on the driver side). Should be at around 2200 to 2800 ohms at 68 degrees F.

I would also be suspect of the connectors John mrentioned if the readings are off. The crumbly insulation and corrosion can wreck the readings.

Barry
