This has been the standard since shortly after the end of WWII. Made in Germany products sold in Germany almost always have the English tagging even if they have additional information in German.

I worked for a large Germanic (Leichtensteinian actually) tool manufacturer that produced products in 7 European countries, the US, China and Taiwan. They also rebranded an occasional tool made by another German company. The difference in those highly regarded companies and ones that are less concerned about quality and their reputation...QAQC. The company I worked for had German QAQC departments, higher testing standards much lower acceptable tolerances than the competition. That did not change if the tool was made in Austria, Tulsa or Shanghai.

If Globalization is your concern or an unwillingness to buy products from certain countires, this may still be of concern. If you are just looking for the same quality of tool as what you paid for, your worries are mostly unfounded if the company lives and dies by the quality of their product as most high-end German tool companies do.
