Clip bent

George,

I will go to NAPA today and ask for a replacement or three.

What happened was when I used the IPD extraction tool, I managed to bend one of the ears of the clip so that it was touching the U shaped portion of the clip. I did not want to use this clip again fearing that I would then never be able to get it off again.

There is just enough room, if I push hard enough, to get the tool between the plastic spacer and handle - about 1mm. There are no additional spacers behind the door cover, just the silly spring. I doubt that all 4 door handles and window cranks are set too deep, but I have nothing to compare it to.

When putting the handles back on, I cannot gently 'push' on the handle and listen for a 'click'. What I wind up doing is banging the handle with my closed fist, quite hard to say the least.
