how beat up can a control arm be before replacing? 700

I am speaking of the oxidation and crud attached to it. To my eyes it looks a bit rough. the car is a 1991 so it's seen a bit of weather, although the rest of the underside is in quite good shape, even for a car just 10 years old, never mind nearly 20.

Normally, I would replace it but if the car serves us another year I'll be happy so I'm not looking to keep it much longer.

It's all apart now to change the ball joints and strut control bushings.
