fuel line and heater core questions 140-160 1971

Re: testing the heater fan (if it's like my '70), Black to ground and either Red or Green to positive. Red is for one speed, Green is for the other (no resistor used, the motor actually has two sets of windings).

I've had to re-solder the wire connections at the motor to get them to work before so beware of that- also test the unit in the upright position. I read a post here noting that sometimes it will work in positions other than the installed one and then quit once it's in.

And be sure to give the bushings a good clean and lube with lithium grease.
