fuel line and heater core questions 140-160 1971

As I'm putting my 142 back together I have one or two questions, I'll need to replace the rubber fuel lines between the hard lines and the motor as well as any rubber heater hose between the heater core and motor.

What psi. rating is the fuel line hose and I'd gather any heater hose from the auto parts store will do for the lines between the heater core and the motor.

The heater fan was starting to squeel a bit in the old car, The parts car came with a back up fan but I can't seem to get it running by grounding and hooking up power from the battery while it's out of the car. Any ideas how to test it while its out of the car, I haven't got the dash and wiring back in yet and would like to make sure it works prior to putting it back in.

Thanks for any input.
Chris
