this 745 has been sitting for 3 1/2 years, the first thing that i did is change the fuel filter and added sea foam with the best gas i could buy. found that that mass air meter was bad-changed it out with a good used one- installed an extra ground and cleaned all the grounds and installed a new positive and negative battery cables, after cleaning and added cables -the ckeck engine light went off and the speedometer is now working-- 745 volvo fought to go up a hill,went back to the bacis mechanic and found the a new timing belt was installed with 3 teeth off,reset the timing belt,now the 745 is a rocket---tranny was shifting rough-steve gave me advice about changing the fluid and filter and kickdown cable, 745 volvo shifts like a dream---so,i see that all my problem was just simple maintenance problems- just time and care and this 745 volvo is operating like a new volvo, i want to thank all the volvo people that help- we have deliveried 35 thanksgiving meals and now working on the christmas needs, volvo for life---- kim richardson-sara rose foodbank
