Thanks to Dave, Ron and John. The distributor is in with shaft alignment looking right.

Next step - adding coolant. It ran right out of the front of the water pump I had (being thrifty) retained from the junkyard B20. Makes quite a mess when you aren't smart enough to keep the drain pan on standby for this activity.

New one on order.
