Driving Light Wiring ( Yeah I know it's not a VOLVO problem , ... but it COULD be)

KD5QBL de VE1EA

Many thanks for the attempt but went back to the mechanic and we decided that it would be easier to just have them on a switch that will only go on when the ignition is live ... so I won't walk off and leave them running and flatten the battery.... However, on the way home I noticed that the DRL indicator light wasn't on ... so stopped on a rest area and sure enough NO DRLs .... checked the fuse panel when I got home and all seems well ... Driving/Fog lights are finally doing what they are supposed to ... headlights are all OK too .... so guess I will also use the new lights as DRLs until I can sort that new problem out _..._._/ ..._._
