Why not just get a restricted orifice manifold fitting from a B20 and use that instead of the PCV valve? Even Volvo figured it was a more reliable way to go. I've converted many B18's to the later B20 vent system (which flows in the reverse direction) and it makes a world of difference in ease and repeatability of tuning.
