Was the offset high or low? I know my fuel gauge is slow to respond to a full tank of gas, but I suspect the sender after 262K miles. The only odd bit is that the meter reads high on the way down. Maybe I'll check mine. I'm going to have to replace my clock (adjuster or whole thing).
