Well I hate to rain on this parade but it's not a Canadian built car.... See:http://www.vlvworld.com/indexframe.html?120/Production.htm. Decoding the VIN number, it was built in Sweden. The only odd thing is that it's listed as a US export model but we didn't get 1969's here. I guess it got diverted to Canada or more likely the website should read 'North American Export'
