I remember coming back from Nova Scotia one summer (1989ish) in the '86 745T.

Got grilled on the US side of the border. "Where did you purchase this car?" they asked. That kind of threw me, I thought it was a weird question, but then got thinking that they may have thought it was new and coming back from Halifax. Although at that time the CAD was weak and it would not make sense for a "Yankee" to purchase a car there.

It only happened that one time although there have been many crossings in that car.
