Hi,

I believe the window is fastened into place with urethane adhesive. If that is the case, you might want to take it to an auto glass shop, at least to have the new window fastened into place (you could still do the removal, all the trim, etc).

When it comes to avoiding damage, do your familiarization/practice at the junkyard.
