240DL timing position sensor location 200

Hi All, I recently bought a 1988 240 DL. The engine was so gritty from an uncleaned flame trap that I removed the wiring harness to clean the engine, took three days. I cannot locate the timing sensor. I've read about the back of the head location with the notch in the bell housing and no notch. I see the two freeze plugs on the rear of the head, also there is an allen plug that looks to close off an oil galley. I'm also bewildered on whether I have Jetronic LH2.2 or LH 2.4 system. Driver door reads 6/88 manufacture. Head reads 2/22/88. Engine reads B230F 1289107 34093. The Mass Air Flow sensor is the 007 model. The TPS is a 280 120 325. The ECM is a 280 00 554 model. I just wonder where that timing sensor could be. Thanks, Keith
