ignition switch replacement - how to proceed? 700 1989

I am replacing my ignition switch due to having to jiggle it to get my headlights, radio, ect to work. I am assuming one takes the torx type screws out to drop the cover plate that covers directly underneath the ignition key.

Can someone who has done this tune me in please?
