Getting ready to press in new ball joints on my 68 144. I have the A arms all cleaned up and painted with POR-15 to curb rust.

On the lower ball joints there is a notch on the ball joint. Does that point out when installing? I don't see such a mark on the A arm to line up the ball joint.

I assume the upper ball joint isn't notched for install?
