My 240 update.. potentially VERY bad development 200 1989

Typically they can be replaced with the block still in the car. You will, however, want to remove the intake and exhaust manifolds and/or head to gain access. Please note, pre 92 B230F engines use "cupped disks" for freeze plugs, 92 and later use the more modern cup type freeze plugs.
